Heidelberg offers a variety of programs and spaces to promote and support recreation and wellness. 的 facilities include Seiberling Gymnasium, Riesen领域, Hoernemann Stadium and Saurwein健康 and 健康中心.
Saurwein contains a multi-room for fitness classes, a ping-pong lounge space, weight equipment and cardio equipment.
的 focus of our 健康 & Counseling Center is to guide students to a realization of their potential by maintaining or restoring physical and emotional health and well-being through medical, education and counseling services. 的 staff empowers students to become knowledgeable health care consumers and assists them in making positive lifestyle choices while striving to protect the students’ personal rights and interests.
的 安全 & Security Department at Heidelberg University provides a 安全 and secure environment for all members of the Heidelberg University family, including students, 教师, staff and campus visitors. 的 department is staffed 24 hours a day all year round and has a close working relationship with both the 吃午饭 Police and Fire Departments.
的 校园安全 and Security Department’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Securing campus buildings and facilities
- Responding to any emergency on campus
- Responding to and investigate any campus fire alarm
- Registration of student, 教师 and staff member parking permits
- Enforcement of campus parking regulations
- Providing student, 教师/staff escorts on campus
- Reporting and responding to campus maintenance situations
- Enforcement of Heidelberg University policies and regulations
- Maintaining a 安全 and secure environment for the campus community
